This is the original grey 40 mm 1970 model compressor diver from revered watch label Dan Henry. Dan makes watches for people with a passion for timepieces and it is plain to see in this limited edition example. One of only 1,970 examples in this size and colorway, this watch boasts an inner rotating bezel used to measure elapsed time – a throwback to retro dive watch designs. This along with an automatic movement, date window, luminescent hands and hour markers, and a custom engraved case back including unique item number and nautical embellishment, makes for a very handsome addition to any collection. The band is soft but durable black silicone with a 22 mm width and quick release pins that mean you can easily switch out the included band for another if you desire. I received the watch as a gift almost two years ago from a relative and tried it on, but had just started a job that didn’t allow jewelry of any kind. I found it digging through a box today and thought I would see if anyone else could use a well-priced, high-quality dive watch.
