This Amazing Tour, and… If there are sure-shot G. Shows that equal, rival, and at some points… Those Cap Centre’ Tour-Opening’ Shows – this 3/30/90 Show at Nassau… Is without any-question one of those! Basically, this Show is simply all-out & Huge! Live Grateful Dead – right during the midst of a Tour… That unarguably catches the Band at a late-best – and, arguably… A, or even’ The’ Best! If you’re a’ Prime’ Brent-Era Fan like me? – there ever some Shows on this Tour that mowed-us-down!!! In a seriously Grate! There was so-much Big-Big! Stuff that happened on this Tour, and this 3/30 Show? My goodness, does it ever capture the essence. Or, as I should probably more precisely say – it succeeds! In capturing Live & Prime! Grateful Dead Lightning In A Bottle!!! This Show is one that circulated Lightning-Quick! In the tape traders circuit, and thankfully – it got around fast in the Crispy-Soundboard! We all knew what was coming next, the chord changes, and all the rest of that good stuff – by the time the 1990 Summer Tour rolled around. This 3-Show run leaked around in bits, pieces, and parts tape-wise – but, without any question… It was this Last/Final 3/30/90 Nassau Show that was truly the Talk of Town – and Tour! Heck, I mean it wasn’t hard to’ hear’ this one a few times in the RFK and/or Three Rivers Parking Lots! Blasting loud too – on Cassette Tapes! – just-like this smooth looking Wes Lang Art designed Chopper! On the Cover of this 3-CD Set!! For the soon after released & now Classic! This Show is Red-Hot! Meant real-serious business all over these 3/30/90 Sets, and – here indeed is That! Proof in this exceptional pro-released format! Which, only took like 22-ish years! But, my goodness – is it ever worth the wait! It is no secret at all why this Spring 1990 Tour was selected for its Glorious!
